I created both hi and low resolution assets, and out source manager, Chris Goodswin, helped me integrate them into the CryEngine game engine, as working with builds from offsite became rather tricky. On Ryse, I sculpted a small handful of weapons for the barbarians. Each artist modeled and textured their assigned assets as well as played the role of concept artist in terms of making the concepts a bit more complete. Based on the sculpts that are shown, you can see that each face was originally going to be more realistic, but we later went with an 'anime-style' head that was modeled and textured by artist Dean Kubina (as represented by the in-game shots). While at Kung Fu Factory, I helped to create three of the eight characters for the fighting game, Girl Fight. I was tasked with creating the hi and low res assets for a game demo. The soldier was created for Motion Logic.

Given we have had remakes for cult-classics, certified bangers, and everything in between, it seems only fair this would also get the remake treatment. Nevertheless, it was confirmed last year that Lollipop Chainsaw would receive a remake on modern platforms. It received pretty average reviews, but the tone and aesthetic of the game was heavily praised. It's a very, very silly game courtesy of Suda51 and Guardians of the Galaxy director/DC Studios head James Gunn, but it wasn't a huge hit. For those that aren't familiar, Lollipop Chainsaw is a 2012 hack-and-slash game that was released on Xbox 360 and PS3 and follows a high school cheerleader as she cuts down zombies with her boyfriend's severed (but living) head hanging from her waist.
